I love to travel! I love a new adventure! I love experiencing new places - people, cities, culture and the food! Traveling is a part of life for the majority of us. And whether we’re hitting the road for business or personal reasons, where to eat and what to eat always come on the radar at some point. And if your personal choices include clean eating and you're wanting to maintain that while you’re away from home, this may be more prominently on your mind as you head out.
Here are some of the ways I plan ahead for traveling and eating well successfully, with a strong push toward knowing when to relax, enjoy, and treat yourself!

You will want to eat the whole dish!! It's so good! It makes a perfect side for so many meals and is especially great for the holidays! Tin Star Foods called this "drool worthy" in their Instagram Post! I have to agree! The brown butter ghee, crispy sage, sweetness of the butternut squash and the tart of the pomegranate seeds creates the most amazing flavor combination!
Tostones are a perfect addition to any Latin, Venezuelan, or Mexican meal! If you love tapas, these are a great addition to any tapas spread! Crispy on the outside, a bit soft on the inside! Serve them up with guacamole or a chipotle lime dipping sauce. Delish!
So many amazing flavors in one dish! Rich seasoned sauce, grass fed beef, green olives, and currants. And, yes, they all taste amazing together! This is easily one of my favorite go to dinners. We eat it over sweet potatoes or cauliflower rice most of the time. But its equally amazing over regular rice if you’re all about those grains! Want to take it up a notch? Throw in some homemade Tostones as a side!
